BIG DATA is the BIG Buzzword of today's world.
Using my vast experience in IT, I was always co-relate Real-Life or Business issue with IT. This is also similar kind of effort from my side.
In Nov'2012, I had come up with a presentation “BIG DATA Opportunities in Indian Context” – which describes some possibilities of Big Data project/POC relating to Indian socio-economic issues.
But the main concerns are:
- Find out that "How to get the concerned Data"?
- Is anybody working on this? What others are doing?
Further I investigated around a month or so and came up with "My Assessments and Findings".
The presentation “BIG DATA Opportunities in Indian Context” only talks about the possible projects but extensible work required on the feasibility study and ground work so that we will work on the possible approach and then we will decide what to do next…
Actually, I have made the presentation not only from the solution of problem/issue angle but also from business angle. This kind of projects need support from different organizations/institutes (may be both from private and public sectors) along with Govt. So, we can join with some initiatives with an agreement that will get reasonable business after the valid POC. Definitely it is not a big profit model at first, but may be it can turn around a reasonable long running steady business with socio-economic flavor.
